COUPLING; READ OUT, ROTARY KNOB, KING PIM, 5. WHEEL TESTS AND TYPE APPROVAL SERVICES
As GCS TEST we perform static press / pull tests and / or dynamic tests on mechanical couplings providing trailer pulling capability.
GCS is working with the experienced engineering team in the automotive sector in the areas of testing, inspection and type approval documentation and serves as a reliable solution partner for clients in their certification efforts.
Our expert team of engineers in the field, our approved laboratories, our state-of-the-art test equipment and our international collaborations / partners, We carry out testing, auditing and certification activities for components, systems, instruments and manufacturers.
We carry out tests on trailer towing equipment designed and installed for towing vehicles and front towing equipment for towing and towing vehicles and we support the type approval required by manufacturers to sell their products easily in European and World markets.

Our laboratories can perform compression and tensile tests and dynamic tests at high tonnage (up to 25 tonnes) according to the regulations specified. As a result of these tests, conformity is reported and type approval (E certificate) is provided after examining whether couplings with traction devices, trailing arrows, pull bolts, king pins and 5th wheels satisfy the regulatory requirements.
Together with our international business partners, we are able to offer approvals according to the OECD Code standards, especially for agricultural tractors and their mechanical connections. GCS TEST, as a technical service in all categories (A, D-17025; B, D-17020, C-17021) including full vehicle type approval by the German Type Approval Organization KBA (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt), one of the most important and prestigious establishments in Europe It has been assigned.
