We carry out flammability tests for motor vehicles, railway vehicles, trains in  our own laboratory that established in Bursa or in the partner laboratories.

In recent years, combustion behavior of materials is very important in the condition after the traffic accident that occured in the vehicle or mechanical/electronical failures .During these kind of events which are directly related to safety of passengers, combustion or explotion can be occur. To prevent spreading of fire / combustion quickly in vehicles; the burning behaviour of materials should be tested in the laboratory in accordance with the published regulations. These tests should be carried out to the components and materials which are used in the vehicle.

These regulations are mainly as follows;

- ECE R118 - Flammability of materials that are used in the internal structure of certain categories of motor vehicles.

- FMVSS 302 - Flammability of materials used in the occupant compartments of motor vehicles according to FMVSS 302.

- CMVSS 302 - Flammability of materials that are used in the occupant compartments of motor vehicles 

- DIN 5510-2 / DIN 54837 - Fire&Flame Tests for railway components

- CEN TS 45545 - Fire testing of materials and components for trains

- UIC 564 - Regulations relating to fire protection and firefighting measures in passenger carrying railway vehicles or assimilated vehicles used on international services

We carry out thorizontal / vertical burning, dripping behaviour tests, burning behaviour tests of cables, engine room isolation tests, toxicity and smoke density tests to components or materials according to class and the position of use in vehicle under the regulations mentioned above.

After test results , we can provide the test report to manufacturers in accordance with relevant standard.
